Dawngaea is an incomplete article, and should probably be looked at in the future. I'm just sayin'.
This page has a few asterisks that need linking. Gonna have to hop on that at some point, m8.

Dawngaea, also called Gaea and Earth, is the planet that the setting takes place in. It was the location of The Exodus, which brought many of the human population of the old Earth to the planet.

Overview[edit | edit source]

When Dawngaea was first found three hundred years ago, it was a near uninhabitable exoplanet due to harsh conditions. When the sixty individuals, come to be known as the Progenitors, made their way to the planet, they were quick to transform it in haste and desperation. The planet was more or less completely changed, terraformed down to nearly the core to be suitable for human life despite the odds.

As a result of this terraforming, Dawngaea's general climates are hospitable to human beings, and were able to sustain sentient life. Its biomes are numerous, most being very similar to earthly ones, while others are not quite so familiar.

Life on the planet has changed in extreme ways, with mutation from residual aura radiation*, often called RAA, causing strange changes in wildlife and humans, alike. People began to immediately develop magical abilities and animals began to change in shape, size, biology, etc. This was a very chaotic factor that split apart the population, who sought refuge from both the new hostile fauna and one another.

The size of Dawngaea is estimated to be around twice the size of old Earth.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

The physics of Dawngaea are strange at best, and outright contradictory at its worst. The planet has many discrepancies that are observed when in relation to the old world.

Its most glaring example is the apparent size of the planet, which was found by many satellites to be extremely large, at least in comparison to the stories of old Earth. Despite this size and the implications of its physics, the force of gravity exerted on the planet is not greater than that of Earth.
